this is fucking baffling to me because EVERYONE here has a dishwasher and has had one for at least… two generations now…
The only places that don’t have one is tiny apartments where it would occupy half the kitchen.
Before I decided to move into my current place I had a moment where I noticed the listing page said the place didn’t have a dishwasher and I didn’t remember seeing one specifically when viewing the place, so I texted the property manager. His response: “yes, it has a dishwasher, that was just an oversight. All modern properties have a dishwasher.” Not sure if he said that because of laws in this state or what but it basically reflects my experience also. I’ve very rarely even seen a home without a dishwasher, it’s been years since I saw one.
Where is the “here” to which you’re referring? I have lived in the United States for the last 47 years (since my birth), and I have lived in six different states (UT, CO, MN, NY, NH, FL). In each of these, I have occupied apartments and houses that had at least 3 to 6 bedrooms.
I’ve lived in over 20 apartments in 4 different US states. Only one of them did not have a dishwasher and that was over 20 years ago. It’s been exceedingly rare that I even saw a place without one. So yeah your comments and anger about this are strange.
Yeah I agree it’s bizarre that someone would tell the lie that they’ve lived for decades without having a dishwasher and on top of that, pretend it’s totally normal.
Also thanks for blocking me! Will be nice not to hear from you moving forward!

So I agree with you. This guy is quite weird…

So I’m really not sure what you’re talking about.
What I understand the least is your hostility

It’s so strange that someone would tell such a fantastical lie. Also strange that someone would feel the need to compete in such an odd way.
I’m gonna block you. You certainly have nothing of value to add to any conversation. Nobody likes a shit stirrer.
