The pictures imply a specific definition of “perfect,” and if we’re just going by the pics then that sword stick trumps the smooth rock.
BUT if we get to choose the definition of “perfect” then I’m pretty sure the coolest “rocks” I can imagine finding would trump the coolest “sticks” I can imagine finding.
It is true this is a particularly good stick and particularly drab rock. I might be biased TEAM STICK FOR LIFE

Depends on how stingy we are being about the definition of rock. If it can’t be entirely formed of carbon as like a giant diamond worth a few hundred million I can then sell, I’m going stick.
Rock is easier to carry; less fragile too.
