• Are the seats black velvet? That sounds rough in the summer. Hot and slipping across a smooth, sweat soaked surface is, perhaps, the least comfortable way to drive. In my opinion, anyway.

    That is an incredibly sweet deal, though. It sounds like you got someone’s leisure car. I can’t think of another reason for all of the mods and mileage being as low as it was. It must have been tough for them to give up.

      No the seats are normal, I guess they didn’t like the cheap plastic feel for the trim (like silver-grey accents around the radio/vents/door cards) so they glued on some sort of fabric. It really doesn’t look too bad, but I’ll probably bring that part back to stock, or swap it for nicer pieces meant for the BRZ.

      • I wish you luck, if you try another veneer. My friend ended up having his new pleather bubble up on him twice before swapping to cloth, which also bubbled up once before being fixed
