People want to feel good and don’t want to feel bad, and this isn’t a moral failing of any kind. I don’t think AI use is because of AI. I think people turn to AI because talking to other people is just so unpleasant. This is the result of human nature, not because of the devil or because of evil, not due to anything else you can condemn someone to Hell for.
I don’t understand the general cynicism on this site when I see the opposite outside every day, that’s all.
