China yes believe the creation of israel was legitimate because of the UN supported it which is ridiculous but they do not talk about how israel should forever remain a jewish state . In the case of India and China, the basic principle of foreign policy is that we have to recognise and work with the governments of all countries even if we don’t like them. Recognition of, and trade with, Israel does not mean endorsement of zionism or any other policy of theirs. We simply recognise national sovereignity as an absolute principle.
