I knew I was going against tankie narratives so I’m not surprised. It’s still pretty pathetic. Tankies literally value their alt-empire over actual meaningful anti-zionism.
FWIW I’m not especially anti-tankie either. I consider them the same as libs. People who are def better than fash but not necessarily allies.

Tankies are mostly wrong about everything but occasionally they make a good point. These ideological bannings are pointless and create harmful echo chambers.
I’m OK with it if you’re creating a highly curated space where only sourced, factual information is permitted but that requires a lot of work and I’ve never seen it done on Lemmy.
