That is most certainly not a 747. It’s missing the top floor and has half as many engines as it’s supposed to.
Its a 777, also known as the last good plane Boeing makes
It looks like a 757 or 777, I’m not sure which.
Edit: after searching both I think it’s a 777.
757 is a narrow body jet, its also very long and looks oddly proportioned.
It is a 777. The 777 has a very distinctive APU exhaust outlet. This clearly has the 777’s exhaust hole on the left side of the tail. Every other modern jet has a centered APU exhaust outlet at the back. The APU exhaust is the obvious tell for a 777 when its hard to descern the scale.
Also the landing gear. Two main gear with three axles each. That configuration is basically only the 777 or the largest variants of the a350.
Also, the wing shape and nose shape. The 777 tapers in far more than the 757 around the cockpit. The 757 has a slightly different wing sweep and flap design. The 777 also doesn’t have winglets, and the 757 almost always does.
But yeah, for me the gear gave it away, it’s where I always start when IDing aircraft (assuming it’s extended, and not something super obvious like a 747).
Fools, in a regulatorarily frictionless environment this is clearly a Boeing 747.4747474747… etc… as in .47 repeating decimal as in the oscillation depends on time t with some spring constant ing that results in a Boe-ing at a rate of 747.4747474747…

So glad to see I’m not the only one getting triggered by the fact the 777 is mislabeled as a 747. Saw it floating around today and it irked me every time… So anyway here’s an updated version someone else made.

We can agree that it’s a website then.
It’s not a website in the same way as a family isn’t a person and a band isn’t a musician. There are websites that are part of it, but no single website is The Fediverse.
Definition:
A website, or web site, is any web page whose content is identified by a common domain name and is published on at least one web server. Websites are typically dedicated to a particular topic or purpose, such as news, education, commerce, entertainment, or social media.
Not all the Fediverse is Lemmy, but all Lemmies are websites.
You’re injecting your own definition of Lemmy. The normal definitions would be:
- The software running on the websites and webservers. It’s the same software running on all the websites, so it’s still only one Lemmy no matter how many websites it powers.
- The subset of the Fediverse that’s accessible via Lemmy software. There’s only one of that (although defederation makes it a little complicated as you can’t access all of Lemmy from any one website).
The “boing” part should really be the sound of parts falling off.
This is redundant, everything is already a spring.
