Half my family uses this shit. The normies fucking love it. I get ChatGPT summary links, “black and white pictures turned color”, Suno generated songs, or AI generated caricatures of family members all the time, unfortunately.
I still cant believe people still enjoy it. I was thrilled with it like a new toy when it first came out. Spent like 2 days getting it to invent jokes and songs and being amazed at it.
Then suddenly I was bored. Same trajectory as a kaleidoscope.
This helps Ai providers to get data, but I’m curious about the sustainability.
Not to be arrogant and claim I know more than Samsung, that has a firm understanding of the current orders and backlog on them.

I think many of those orders will be cancelled before they are fulfilled. And 2027 will probably be the year things normalize, unless it happens already late this year. The cracks in the AI bubble are already showing, and usually things go pretty fast soon after that.Well I guess I am a bit arrogant after all. 🤣 😋 🍻
Unfortunately I think that’s a bit to soon. I think it will be around 28 or 29 that orders start getting cancelled, if they can even be by that point. Then will be another year or two from then that things start to stabilise. And it is going to continue to be insanely expensive.
And the cost of bits has… stayed the same. So why has software gotten more expensive, Nintendo?
If Nvidia suddenly needs to cancel contracts for the RAM (since they are hogging nearly everything for its GPUs), can the existing stock be repurposed for consumer electronics, like videogames, phones and personal computers?
Unfortunately no. Because of the chip design and proprietary architecture, once the die is made, what it can be used for is set in stone. So if those chips are specific to server architecture or GPUs, they may not work if grafted on to a consumer DDR5 form factor.
All we can hope for is that allocation of NEW stock is released back to consumers, but with the death of manufacturers like Crucial, even that will be an up hill battle.
