    I was just thinking about the influx of new anon accounts because of the login requirement and wondering how the company would spin it to investors. Now i know.

        Lemmy by design will be niche. Basic stuff like your votes being public will prevent a huge amount of popularity.

            i had like half a million total internet points on reddit before i caught a ban, the fact that it doesn’t get tracked here is great.

          I agree with the first half of your statement but I’m not sure many people care or even know about the votes being public – especially since it requires using the API or a third party tool to access

    The USA would be a complete joke if it weren’t for the “value” created by genocide, imperialism, prison, planetary destruction, etc.
