Capitalists hate nothing more than actual competition, so of course the establishment Dems want to ensure that their actual base relies on the scraps of political aid they provide. Republicans aren’t their competitors when it comes to progressive voters, progressives are.

Arguably real capitalism is unattainable. Its just as much of an “on paper it works” idea as real Marxism. In brief, when humans who like power and control get in the mix, things get weird.

I think it’s attainable. It just requires a society that’s survived long enough to learn how to effectively educate the young, and the recognization that freedom of speech applies to the boundaries of society. As in, a believer of bigotry and/or exploitation cannot exist in society - that would tear society down.

More equitable governments existed before the colonization and homogenization of the globe. Ones with great feats of man too. Maybe the colonialism route moved faster, but that diesht mean it was the better route.

I’ll upvote that. I’m less optimistic concerning an egalitarian society. However, I fully agree with you on the tolerance of intolerance point.
