Ryan Gosling’s strength as an actor is easy charisma, natural delivery of weird lines, and really good comic timing. He can also sing and dance but that isn’t relevant here.

Overall Ghost Rider needs someone who can relate weird information about Hell without sounding scary but remaining intimidating. Gosling is a good choice for that actor. This movie will come down to the script, which is Marvel so it’s going to be broadly appealing and more than likely “it’s okay”.

I’ll see this movie but not paying full price and not paying full attention.

Hollywood is so devoid of ideas that they need to remake shitty superhero films. Captain Marvel reboot?

Wouldn’t have thought of Gosling for this role but he’s been great in everything where he was given a half decent script. My concern is more with what the script/screenplay will have rather than his acting chops. He’s done romcom, action, and comedy really well so hard to see him failing at this barring a terrible script.

Ryan Gosling is not capable of the ghost rider character so they will destroy the character, for the actor, to get it made.
