I mean, the whole setting of Skyrim is modeled off of ancient Viking culture. Do you not remember just the absurd quantities of wine, beer, and mead lying around everywhere? This is clearly one of those cultures where you have a pint of good stout beer with breakfast. They’re all sloshed 24/7. Even the kids are probably drinking small beer.
