In kindergarten, I happened to look out the car window and see a transformer explode maybe 30 feet away. For a kid, the most amazing thing ever.

Show and tell was the next morning, and that’s what I insisted on doing for show and tell. Tell everyone what I saw. All tell, no show.

One little bastard in the back immediately shouted “no you didn’t!” Childhood “yuh-huh, nuh-uh” shouting match ensued. No one believed me because the bastard was the loudmouth bully kid.

Little bastard, wherever you are, yes the fuck I did see it.

I saw a Lynx at the Denham airport in western Australia in 2014.

This is just a generic stock photo of one, I didn’t take a photo.

Obv there are no native lynx in the area, and the climate is not suited to them at all., nor any evidence that one has ever existed there.

Two other people saw it and pointed it out to me. I distinctly remember the features, tufted ears, long legs, stubby tail. About the size of a Labrador dog. Not just a regular feral cat. Distance was about 80m away, across the airstrip.

We watched it for about 10 seconds, then it locked eyes with us and quickly disappeared into the bush.

Feral Maine coon cat let that lost part of its tail in 2014:

WTF are these people looking at?

/s I do actually believe you. People release exotic pets more than they should.
