I flatly refuse to say the Waffle House BS for hash browns. You will put tomato’s, onion, and cheese on them. I REFUSE to speak their gibberish for some shredding fucking potatoes.
Fun for them is probably being around someone who doesn’t get up on a soapbox to profess their refusal to say the menu names at a shitty breakfast food chain like they’re making some kind of outraged, principled stand.
Edit: Just want to point out the irony in eating at IHOP enough to have such a strong opinion on the menu names and then unironically calling other people obedient to corporations like IHOP because they think you’re acting obnoxious.
How are they on a soapbox? They made a relevant comment in a related comment section. They are very on topic and discussing OPs post. You’re kinda on a soapbox though, aren’t you?
> Calling other people “indulging in the childish marketing of corporations” (a corporation which I imagine you’d have to eat at a decent bit to be this pissed over it; couldn’t say having eaten there like once when I was 7).
> Strawmanning those calling you out by insisting they’re doing the thing you profess not to with no evidence. (They might just ask for the fruit pancakes or whatever and not say the name but not make a big deal out of it.)
> Putting up a giant “OBEY” sign because other people think you’re acting like a clown.

You mean you want your hash browns spanked, choked, and gagged?
You must be fun to go out with
So fun for you is indulging in childish marketing of a large corporation?

No soapboxing here, nosiree.
They get it wrong when I use their gibberish, so I say what I want
