A quick reminder that China is a decisive enabler of the war in Ukraine and openly said it can’t afford Russia to lose the war.

Point of order - russia has lost the war. They’re in freefall. As a vassal state of China’s, they’ve already gone so far into debt they’ll never get out in anyone here’s lifetime.

Why not end it? Save whatever money and resources they have to serve China without getting more blowed up? Plus it would infuriate the demented rapist, so - win-win!

Not going to happen. As in China benefits a lot from the war. Russia has to sell cheap oil, gas and other natural resources to China and China gets a market, where it does not have to compete with the West. More so Russia took a lot of land from China in the unequal treaties. China might well want that land back. Hell they fought a few small wars over it.

Yep. This is just Zelensky doing PR saying publicly that it’s just as much of a proxy war for China as it is for the US without saying it out loud.

All military industries are testing autonomous drone warfare there. Some day they can point the targeting algorithm to anyone opposing the pyramid scheme

Yep, but conversely, China could also increase their support for Russia and try to get the war to end in Russia’s favor. Just like it swung the Korean War in North Korea’s favor.

They get to make trouble for their geopolitical enemies, drive Russia deeper into their corner and make money, no way they’d do anything but the exact opposite of such a thing.
