Three soldiers from the occupation army, belonging to what is known as ‘Force 100,’ filed a lawsuit before the Central Court in occupied Jerusalem, demanding financial compensation amounting to 18 million shekels, equivalent to approximately 6 million US dollars. This legal step is taken against the occupation authorities and 17 other entities, under the pretext of being subjected to ‘media defamation and unlawful detention’ following previous accusations of brutally abusing a Palestinian prisoner.

The details of the case date back to July 2024, when a Palestinian detainee in the ‘Sde Teiman’ camp was subjected to systematic torture, including extremely dangerous physical and sexual assaults, in addition to repeated electric shocks. These violations resulted in lacerations, a broken rib (seven ribs), and a punctured lung, which forced medical teams to perform urgent surgical interventions to save the life of the prisoner who was facing certain death due to the brutality of the abuse.

Despite these crimes being documented through leaked video clips broadcast in August 2024, which clearly showed the soldiers assaulting the prisoner, the occupation’s military prosecution decided in March 2026 to drop all criminal charges against them.
