I mean, I get it. It’s heroic and satisfying to imagine oneself going down in a blaze of glory or getting into a firefight or a slugfest with a bunch of boots-on-the-ground foreign invaders, but that’s not the century we’re in.
Yeah the US is struggled with IEDs in Afghanistan, we know that because Canadians were there. Now the US military is struggling against cheap drones.
It won’t be a WW2 like war. It would be oil shortages, electricity blackouts, food shortages, and Amazon fulfillment centers going up in flames. That’s what war looks like in Russia right now, it wouldn’t be all that difficult to inflict that on the US.
