    Most have 400V 16A available in the kitchen, allowing for instance our stove to use up to 6400 W!

    Yeah, there are also 240V three-phase heavy appliance circuits in the US for things like stoves, air conditioners, washing machines, and such. But that usually isn’t what one is going to be running a PC on.

      No sorry, I went off topic a bit.
      But we still typically have more power in standard sockets with 2300W being the minimum.
      So not quite as close to the limit of a normal household socket here. But it’s still crazy.
