At this point, Its a possibility. Maybe corporates don’t want humans to be intelligent enough to fight with AI like in Terminator. So they are making people forget coding and stuffs in the name of assisting and made us lazy to prevent AI ig.
Please… the thought that a super intelligent A.I.'s best idea for human annihilation is to make robot men instead of creating a super virus is laughable. It’s a nice fairytale to think we’ll actually stand a chance at fighting back against our demise though.
A supervirus would make a very depressing film

China’s in the race to dominate the, “non-human market,” by 2027.
AGI is not coming out anytime soon, and LLM’s aren’t that competent.
Quit advertising for the AI companies for free
LLM’s aren’t that competent.
Which is why people are able to mess with them and make viruses.
It doesn’t have to? Somebody just needs to use it to bio engineer a virus so powerful we get wiped out.

“The 600 series used em-dashes, we spotted 'em easy…”
“that was when they still used central processing”, still had something to aim at."
The machines hypothetically driving that robot are huge installations that require vast unguarded infrastructure to operate.
Nah we’ll be the ones to die first
The problem is that these techno-feudalists don’t understand the tech themselves.
They have fed themselves the same lies and now believe in it. Worse, is that since these LLMs are commodities, that means they will always appease even at the expense of safety.
The technology is the Mirror Mirror On The Wall from Snow White, but lobotmised. The Mirror almost always spoke the truth, but these LLMs don’t.
When a ceo or exec or whatever assigns a task or something to someone, they go off and do it and come back with a result, doesn’t matter if it’s right or wrong.
It doesn’t matter if it involves 1000 people and years of work, it’s the same with a few status meetings along the way.
When AI comes along, it’s the same thing, but faster. Sure it can be wrong, but so can humans, so who really cares? All they see is same result, but faster.
I think that’s where the AI craze comes from. Executives don’t see people as real, they see them as agents and human agents cost more than AI.
except, you know, turns out those cost savings don’t actually exist and humans are, in fact, cheaper…

“Where do you see yourself in five years?”
“I don’t.”
“In a firing squad. I just don’t know which side I’ll be on.”
One thing that has always bothered me about Terminator. Why would Skynet put the “brain” in the thing’s head? It’s the least armored part of the robot. It would make more sense to put the processor in the torso where it would be much harder to damage. It’s not like terminators are limited by signal time across biological neurons, which is why animals have the brain near the sense organs. Transmission times from eyes in the head to a brain in the torso along fiber-optic lines would be irrelevant.
You make a good point, however you need to remember that the power system, both power storage and motors, need to go somewhere.
I could easily argue that the power storage is just as critical a part as the central processing unit, but takes up a lot more space. So why not put the CPU in a hardened “head”, and the battery pack in the torso?
The brain isnt in the head, but the modem is…
I’m more of a Matrix believer.
I hope I get a nice pod with views over the human farms.
Whoever want to be john connor, and sarah connor , please by any mean do your things asap, before it’s too late.
