Hey,

I upgraded my audio setup with a turn table and pre-amp even though I don’t own a single vinyl (drunken impulse buy - don’t ask).

So what are some must have anime soundtracks that are readily available to buy online (and don’t cost absurd collectors prices, looking at you Made In Abyss OST)? I have already added to the basket:

  • Cowboy Bebop (Original Series Soundtrack)
  • Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End / Soundtrack
  • Video Game Lofi: Persona Original Soundtrack

edit

  • Ghost in the Shell (Original Soundtrack)
  • Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (Original Soundtrack)
  • Cowboy Bebop - The Real Folk Blues Legends
  • Nana - Best Extended Version (Original Soundtrack)
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Original Soundtrack) (I know, not an anime)

Do we have some vinyl enthusiasts here that have some good resources to share?

Update: Everything arrived. I had to use Bebop for the maiden run - Jazz and vinyl go hand in hand in my mind.

Next step, put the PC speakers back on the PC and get a proper amp with passive speakers.

    • Neon Genesis Evangelion, obviously. “Evangelion Finally” is the latest release on LP. ~$42 USD right now on Amazon.
    • Halo 3 triple vinyl set, available for ~$62 on Amazon right now.

I’m not a fan of the Evangelion OST, other than the OP I don’t think I like any track from the original OST. But I will look up if they have a Halo CE ost vinyl. The OG Halo score was transformative.
