I’ve successfully used two methods to defeat this.

If you get a burst of energy at the most useless time, use it to remove obstacles you might face tomorrow. Prepare your outfit for the next day. Prepare your meal. Load the dishwasher, or clean your coffee cup before you need it if you’re a pig like me.
-
Force yourself to do a long task (cleaning, gardening) for 30 minutes, then allow yourself to stop. It’s not as daunting as having to complete the entire task in one go, but it’s enough to probably pick up the momentum and compelte the entire thing. And if it doesn’t work, you’ll still be 30 minutes ahead.
I heavily rely off of the first one. the less I have to do when I’m out of it, the less overwhelmed I will be.
I love the mindset in the second point

Oh you guys aren’t falling asleep with your eyes open and seeing the wall dance? Just me with the crippling exhaustion and narcolepsy?
I know that feeling. The key to snapping out of it is momentum. Make forward progress.
Get one small win. The easiest thing you need to do. Then go after another easy one. Gain some momentum in problem solving and take bigger things on. It’s too much all at once, but it’s doable in small steps.
Inattentive add?
Inattentive multiplication, actually
existentialexponential dread

I get like this when I put my socks on in the morning.
Yeah I’m not ready to start some days
When I was younger, every morning after showering I’d dry off and just sit on my parents bed like this for 10 minutes or so. I’m not really sure why, I think I just used that time to think about stuff
“Sorry, I slept in.”
