She holds her fat weird and looks like she is pregnant or has worms. She’s def got that pear body shape lmao. Gotta start with reducing food and using a slow feeding bowl and then if she still continues to gain weight, I’ll have to put her on a diet.

I mean, I did call her fat but I told her she’s the prettiest chubby kitty and was so brave.

That did not ease her rage. She hates the vet and told me all about it on the way home

You named her Jelly gotta expect a jellyroll. For faster slimming, try to give her extended playtimes, especially before feeding, and encourage Wacky Kitty Time when she’s interested like after using the litterbox and in the middle of the night.

Our vet stopped calling our orange tabby big boned and started just calling him fat.

We’ve had to switch him to wet food (which is better for cats anyways) and calculate serving sizes and calories and tape the treats . A whole regimen. The things we do for our pets.

Jelly is lovely and I’m. Sure she’ll forgive you. Eventuallly.

From my experiences with animals (and human animals too), worms tend to make you thinner rather than fat
