That would require fundamentally transforming the entire system into socialism, which cannot be done through the capitalist system itself, nor through a party that has evolved over the centuries to be in lock-step with billionaires, just as the GOP has. They represent different wings of billionaires, but billionaires nevertheless.
Why should politicians and political parties be allowed to shrug off their egregious mistakes?
We shouldn’t let following generations be fed a sanitized fantasy of what we witnessed and live through. We should all remember why Bernie Sanders was cheated out of his shot at leading US and the West to a better future. Or all the other stuff like a literal genocide.
The establishment Dems shouldn’t be allowed to hide behind token gestures. I appreciate the fact that they’re inclusive and got rid of the discriminatory rules prohibiting lgbt+ in the armed forces. But we also shouldn’t forget or overlook the forever-wars and needles conflicts they’re thrown into for corporate interests and profits.
I think that the system in 'Murica is fucked and needs to be totally changed, but that requires the entirity of every single institution to be torn down and built again
