Do you think the groups I mentioned aren’t tankies, or do you think the majority of people you would describe as tankies aren’t doing what they do? Are you calling the Black Panther Party “a bunch of fucking losers,” or just those that support them?

Marxist ideology doesn’t not make one a tankie. Shitposting online to convince people not to pull the levers of power in front of them does.

Pretending that choosing between two genocidal imperialist parties is a path to working class power is incompatible with Marxism, though. It would still be incorrect to think electing a socialist party would result in socialism, but it’s astronomically incorrect to think picking between genocidal imperialist parties is a meaningful path to worker liberation.

Don’t pretend tankies want “a meaningful path to worker liberation.” I’ve seen the regimes they idolize.

I’m not pretending anything here, I am a socialist, I pay dues. The Black Panther Party supported Vietnam, China, the DPRK, and more:

The fact that the socialist left has historically been revolutionary, and supported revolutionary worker governments, is not at all opposed with wanting a meaningful path to worker liberation. To dedicate your time and money to studying theory and history, to organizing in trade unions and tenant unions, to spreading revolutionary consciousness, to party building and cadre training, is to have a firm belief in the necessity of rolling up your sleeves to build a better world.

You can disagree with the Marxist left all you want, but to say that we do not want a meaningful path to worker liberation is absurd and not at all reflected in reality.

Maybe I do, maybe I don’t, maybe I do sometimes. Does the answer change whether or not I’m a socialist that spends time and money organizing for a better world? Again, you can disagree with the Marxist left all you want, but to say that we do not want a meaningful path to worker liberation is absurd and not at all reflected in reality.

Nice dodge. Let’s narrow it down a little bit more. Did you vote in the last election?

You dodged every single question I have given you, why the hell would I answer anything you ask like an obediant dog if you won’t even entertain the possibility of answering any of mine? If you won’t even show a basic level of respect in conversation, why on Earth would I assume you’re anything other than a bad-faith troll? It takes two people to have a conversation, I’m not a chatbot for you to manipulate.

I’ll answer your questions if you answer mine. Simple as that.
