Boiling a damn potato, without adding salt in the water or even peeling it, makes it processed already…

With just a little bit of common sense this wouldn’t be so hard to differentiate. Oats are processed, yes (take the grain, separate the husk, press it, pasteurize it, package it, etc.), but nobody will tell you its processed food, right? Also isn’t transport a unit operation, wouldn’t make that anything that got moved in an industrial fashion processed? Get a life if that trips you up

Ithink you’re the one lacking common sense - misusing words because of trends. :D

Preach, I hate the label too… People try so hard to make it useful but it’s just not… Plenty unprocessed foods will kill you and plenty processed foods are amazingly healthy.

Yea didn’t say that I eat processed meats or any form of cheese either, but I can eat fresh meat and fish, eggs and milk. I can also eat young legumes without getting headaches but I am in testing on that front. Its not about processed but rather age of the product, anything that gets industrially processed (especially protein rich foods) is probably too old.

Edit: fixed typos and inserted missing words for clarity

Yeah, i found that out recently, it’s related to the level of histamine in the food.

Oh! Nice to learn about that! I’ll keep an eye out, although using antihistamines is usually good to clear the headache, thiamine seems to act as an histamine release trigger, so it could be that as well…

The wikipedia page says that there is more and more attention given to the level of biogenic amines in food, so it’s a good news!

That is interesting to learn. Well as long as tomatos are fine for me I am gonna rule out histamine, but eggplants and broccoli that makes me go ouch
