This is unironically how the right sees Trump and his ilk though. Vividly remember a conversation between two family members when one said “why are people mad? He just wants to make America great again.”

Not sure the point I’m trying to make tbh. Just be careful with how we envision “our” candidates in our minds.

It took them awhile to realize Trump’s definition of “great” and “big beautiful” was for the 1%ers, but a dystopian hellscape for the 99%.

Once I get Talarico’s face tattooed on my chest and fly a “Talafreako” flag on the back of my truck every day and wear a “Time To Start Flipping Tables” hat to every Thanksgiving with my family for the next ten years then maybe we can have a cautionary conversation about idolizing politicians.

Do you thibk his supporters don’t care about the rape allegations, or do they just not believe them?

By that logic, vote for the Democrat who wants to make America even better. Yeah, they absolutely take him at his word (except when he’s calling them stupid or denigrating military personnel, etc) but don’t listen to people who have receipts.
