Ah yes, the old “democrats can’t win unless they’re republicans too” strategy that I wish would become immediate cause for shun and ridicule. The people who want to vote for a Republican are going to vote for the Republican, even if the Democrat has the exact same policies. Stop trying to court republicans as a democrat, and start worrying about mobilizing enough of your base and energizing moderates with some real policies that will actually make things better.
Perhaps they’re not trying to get the Democrats to court Republicans. Perhaps they are corporate mouth pieces trying to get better corporate conditions from a potential Harris government.
