    Really? This seems like one of those things that you have to complete just because it’s such a huge investment, the true failure would be leaving it unfinished. It also sounds like HBO plans to do 7 seasons anyways, based on what’s in the article:

    HBO has already indicated that the plan is for each season of the show to span one of J.K. Rowling’s novels, which would mean seven seasons in total.

      I’ve thought that before but I don’t trust that they will. I don’t think the suits at top will say “but we are at season 4 we have to finish the whole show” if it’s not profitable. The fact that they just approved season 2 leans to that I think, otherwise they’d have a minimum 7 seasons approved

        Hmm. Well, another factor is, I am quite sure that this series will be profitable. It’s almost guaranteed to be more popular than House Of The Dragon.

          I’m sure it will be, but will it be for 7 years? No idea. I’ve just lost all trust in Studios to finish anything they set out to do
