I mean… a bullet is much less agonizing than being flipped over, and die like that. But oh wait, you don’t die, it was just a vision, now you spend the next few hours/days just in anxiety anticipating death.

So yea, if I made it past the event in the inital vision, I’d just stand in front of a huge crowd, give an anti-government speech, say something like “the government is trying to kill me because I’m speaking the truth!” then stage my own “assassination” and become a martyr.

Maybe my thoughts are just incoherent.

Its Final Destination reference. The logs was destined to kill the protagonists in the 2nd movie (its not really spoiler its literally the premise of the movie).

I’m talking about like, “death” is gonna kill you either way, so I’d just make my death more interesting. Like… make it looked like I got assassinated.

How often do you see logs dropped along a road anyway? I would not count on getting hit by one.

The log was cgi’d, because real logs don’t bounce off the road like rubber balls. And also poorly secured logs are more likely to fall from the side than to slip all the long way to the back.

Did you just discover the truth behind this timeline?

We escaped something catastrophic and this is just death fucking with us while it gets around to each of us in order.

We put too much effort into fixing the Y2K bug. That was supposed to destroy civilization, but since it didn’t the timeline has been trying to re-assert itself ever since.
