I bought it for Switch years ago after being peer pressured from the massive amount of glazing and regretted it. It’s a good game, I just don’t like roguelikes. The constant “I hate roguelikes but this was the best game I’ve played in years!” comments pushed me to do it.

I am actually among the “don’t like roguelikes but this was an amazing game” crowd. Sorry it didn’t work out for you. I can’t say exactly what it is, but something about how they nailed the roguelike formula is perfect. I loved the game but the actual gameplay was probably my least favorite part if that makes sense.

There is just something about Hades that clicked for me as well. I literally never played rougelikes, but Hades just hit different.

I played it right before Hades 2 came out, and bought Hades 2. I have now completed all steam achievements on both games. So I really understand the
