Good guys and bad guys don’t exist in real life though, because real life has no screenwriter. Better to learn the perspective of all parties and cross-reference them like an investigator
Whoops lol just noticed your quotation marks, seems like you probably roughly agree
Europe is essentially the vassals of the US Empire, so any pro-European stance is almost always in the context of perpetuating imperialism or trying to gain more leverage to no longer be vassals of empire. It’s impirtant to recognize that, in a conflict between Russia and the US Empire, the US Empire winning continues to fuel imperialism, while Russia winning results in a dramatically changed geopolitical field. In the context of bringing about socialism globally, the US Empire is by far the largest obstacle.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not “pro-Europe” by any means. But I live here, and it’s generally quite nice for me.
I don’t feel obligated to pick sides in this conflict, I have no delusions of having any influence on it. Whomever wins, wins, and we’ll deal with that if and when it happens.
That’s more a stance of intentional blindness, though, which as a strategy means you’ll never advance meaningful positive change. And Europe is fairly nice to live in for many people, precisely because Europe benefits from imperialism.

Indeed, I mean “good guys” and “bad guys” in the usual narrative !
This kinda post is also stuck in a sort of a false dichotomy where you have to choose between the US or Russia. Why ?
I’ll stick to Europe, personally, although I’m aware there’s lots of sucky stuff here as well.

Good guys and bad guys definitely exist. Most who seek power are bad guys though.
