Working good so far. Got several templates converted over and learning some of the differences between the two apps.
Pain point found with no good solution. LibreOffice Draw, in a table, in a cell: i can set tab stops but cannot tab to them.
Cntrl+tab doesn’t work either. AI search says build table in Writer where it does work then copy/paste table into Draw. Seems like a horrible work around.
I feel like your IT department should be able to figure out how to keep it frozen in time, I.e. working regardless of M$ support
We now have LibraOffice installed. Draw is a suitable replacement to Publisher

Other than that, really happy with Draw.
Or cease using stuff they cannot control.
