    I love this plugin.
For my desktop I’ve extracted the Aerial Screensavers from a MacOS install and slowed them down.
Since they’re shot at a very high framerate (for the speed ramp transition they do), playing them back at 30 FPS yields a wallpaper that’s ever-changing, but subtly and slowly enough as to not be annoying.

That sounds great. No offense to OP, but even with the blur the speed of theirs would just make me anxious all the time.

Used the Smart Video Wallpaper Reborn plugin from the Plasma store. Downloaded the video, edited down to the period I wanted and made a loop so it would fade from the end to the beginning again. I also removed the audio too.

The blur you can do in the plugin and I did that so it wouldn’t be too distracting.

The video is this front view of the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway in Cumbria, England from roughly this point on.

Everything else is just Vanilla Plasma widgets and panels.

The Terminal apps are Kew, Hyfetch, and cmatrix. The GUI apps are Obsidian and Firefox.
