My parents chose their current house specifically because it had taller than normal doors. In case their children somehow grew much taller than them. Perhaps the postman was a tall guy, I don’t know.
I talked to some women online who told me that they are looking for someone taller than me, ideally 1.95 up, but it’s fine. My interest at that point is already gone anyway so i don’t care if my 1.85 is tall enough and if i’m a good enough accessory for someone 25 cm shorter than me.
But it got me thinking, because i don’t really see myself as tall. I feel just normal, i have never been taller and only a short amount of time shorter. But when i do see someone taller or in the 1.95+ range, it does stand out, and it doesn’t happen too often. It is quite restricting if you only want to date tall people, because they have to be tall, single, attractive, compatible and in your age range. It’s so confusing. If i’d only date women that are 1.80 cm tall, my dating pool would be one woman in a 70km radius.
Also height difference is not always great for sexy time
I get why a woman would enjoy being easily carried by her man or things like that (which a shorter but strong man could accomplish too), but the height (and probably weight) difference can limit sexual positions (or their practicality)
Is that like, 2m? That’s pretty tall, who’d want someone that tall anyway? They’d keep banging their heads on doors.
As a 6’2" this is my every day life.
I bang my head on nearly every door.
I have permanent brain damage and must be cared for regularly as my motor functions fail me from time to time.
I can barely talk coherently and I use an eye tracking keyboard to write like Stephen Hawking. This message will have taken hours to write.
But I’ve never had issues getting laid from dating apps because I’m 6’2"

I’m 198 and apparently it’s 6"6. I wouldn’t mind lose 10 cm but it’s not too bad either. 6"2 is probably middle + a little bit.
6’3 is 193 so I guess 6’2 is 190.
Idk where you live but here doors are 2m or 2.1m high.
But yeah over 2 would suck here. Even 180 would suck in some places of Latin America, I’ve been told.
Submarines as well. For some reason the regs make all the hatchways 5’10" or 5’11". I had to duck to get through them.
Also Japan. Had to duck shop signs.
I don’t think I’ll ever understand why people think this way.

I am that tall and it is quite rare that I hit my head on things but it does happen. Maybe difference in average height between cultures
