After a fatal train crash in Spain, which occurred by the Adamuz crossover, OSM mappers began mapping the surrounding area in solidarity to improve map quality.

Working on OSM and Wikipedia, it’s always a sight to behold when a subject is given a sudden, major boost in quality. It’s simultaneously a harrowing reminder of how much work remains and an uplifting one that people like you are working just as tirelessly as you are toward a common goal. Every time it just makes me wish more people got into contributing and found their own little areas to improve.
