Honest question: don’t you mind the smell? No matter how much I rinse the drain it keeps smelling all day long.

Please don’t. Is it that hard to leave the pool first and go to the showers to pee there? The showering people there need the warm yellow.
Same here, doesn’t really matter as it is immediately washed away.

For years I have thought about getting a small portable AC unit for the summer so that I can pre chill my bedroom before going to bed, but every year I feel it is too expensive, and keep using the shower and a sheet to cool down

…yes!I’ve actually been seeing dual-hose units in stores now!
I like to imagine someone in a position of power watches that channel and actually did something about it.
Mono block units are, yeah. However some split units have appeared on the market in recent years and they are great for people who rent an apartment without any AC. I bought a Midea PortaSplit last year and it’s amazing.
there are units that blow under your blankets now.
Why you would call your mom a unit is beyond me.
