FreeBSD didn’t have working nvidia drivers for amd64 in 2006, so, Linux it was.

2·2 months agoOnce you get them custom molded to your ears, you won’t want to go back.
2·1 year agoUPS depends on usecase and on the stability of your electrical supply (which varies greatly from place to place). I just leave everything running and have it configured to restart automatically on power restore (if it fails, which it rarely does).
The deeper into low level kernel stuff, the less direct compatibility.
