    Reminder from the Copilot ToS:

Copilot is for entertainment purposes only. It can make mistakes, and it may not work as intended. Don’t rely on Copilot for important advice. Use Copilot at your own risk.

I literally had to write a clock app on my own because Windows clock is pretty bad.

I was thinking that they’ll just replace the clock with Copilot eventually.

Windows 11: “It’s 11 pm sharp. I know that because I looked at the RTC.”

Windows 12: “It’s 11 pm sharp. That’s a phrase people like to say, apparently.”

    …Don’t give Microsoft any ideas.

This is actually a very good example of middle managers in a large organization getting marching orders and seeing which way the wind is blowing.

IBM had a similar thing in the early 2010s when they decided they were all in on “cloud” (about 10 years too late). Every manager saw where things were headed and pivoted whatever their product was to “Cloud” regardless of the suitability.

The higher ups like this too because it lets them put everything under the “cloud” or AI heading on earnings and revenue and makes them look like they are nimble and working on the new hotness, even if it’s just someone moving their calculator to a web app or whatever.

I mean you could just move your files into the recycle bin. But what if an AI agent would do that for you? It would make your life much easier, think about it for a minute.

They don’t need ideas, notepad is literally a copilot tool now.

They never changed the icon because they know how discussting copilot is but literally every default windows app is now just a skin for copilot.

Not an exaggeration this has already happened we just don’t realize it yet.

No it just summarizes what groceries it needs to operate correctly and expects you to drive out and feed it.

“Copilot, order me…uh…us one diet coke”

        Ordering -1 diet coke…

        …received 65535 diet cokes…

As long as they are packaged separately… I can figure out what to do with the bleach and the brake fluid later.

Bleach is useful for cleaning and disinfecting.

Brake fluid dissolves car paint, so it’s useful for loading into a super soaker and doing a drive-by spraying of your local new car dealership.

I use other things for cleaning and disinfecting, but that is some very interesting and new information about brake fluid that I did not know…

Metal woven hose with a metal sprayer, gotcha

Better use a metal tank with a metal pump too, industrial size might be best. One of those giant trucks that’s used for spraying paint everywhere… I’m getting some ideas…

I know what bleach is for, silly. I have never owned anything white (why invite stains?), and I sold the last car I owned in 2007 and I will never ever own another car again. Subway all the way WOOT!

I am certain I could resell whatever quantity I got of both online somewhere to, you know, other people who own those things.

            blinker fluid.

lol. Made me think of exploding panels on the Starship Enterprise that were powered by “plasma”

Great! Thanks! You’ve just doomed us to get the Linux Saturn, which will be appreciated by some, but ultimately fail against SuperWindows and Windows 64. After that we’ll get something beautiful, the Linux Dreamcast, but it will be too little too late, as just a few months later, Apple releases the MacStation2, which most people buy because it has a DVD player built in, and the Linux Dreamcast kind of just dies… 25 years later, and Linux is making Linux Classics compilations and new games starring Tux for the WindowsSwitch2.
