“Next time you need help call a crackhead”

Absolutely, man! They’re stronger than they look and will do anything for $20

I had a neighbor once who was a recovering addict and owned a small roadside trash pickup business. According to him, he got off the crack but stayed on the crackhead grind. He was awesome

“But they didn’t show the whole video” is what we also say to cops/the right when they post the clips of them gunning people down

Doesn’t belong: “COMPLY FIRST AND FIGHT IT IN COURT LATER” isn’t bootlicking, it’s survival advice. It’s unfair and shouldn’t be necessary, but it has a good chance of keeping you alive when they’re abusing their authority…

Counterpoint: Philando Castile, Daniel Shaver, Renee Good.

That’s why it’s Bootlicker Bullshit Bingo card.

That’s just some fairly recent examples too. There are dozens and dozens of cases of people fully complying and getting killed anyway. Cases where officers were issuing completely impossible or contradictory commands, “suspects” being told to “stop resisting” and being beaten to death when other angles show them not resisting at all. The list goes on and on. “Complying” is not a good way to keep from being brutalized or killed, you’re always just rolling the dice of whether or not you’re dealing with a psychopath or not.

Yeah well it probably is still better than not doing it

Best advice is avoid law enforcement altogether whenever possible

Yeah for the person in the moment the best course of action is whatever is going to make survival most likely. I’m more saying it for people who think that complying is some magic spell that will stop police from just killing you if they feel like it.

I’ve had a taillight out for months but every time I drive past a cop I just gun it and gtfo. Sometimes they chase but damnit I don’t have time to be messing around with a taillight.

just because it doesn’t always work doesn’t mean it’s a best practice when dealing with police. dealing with ICE is a different scenario.

Also have you tasted really premium boot? Not that shit the police wear but some real llama leather with mud in it, boiled for eighteen hours until it’s lace tripping tender. Tell me you can resist that
