Yesn’t. Crossposting is weird on lemmy as the “Crosspost” feature is sending the link of the currently uploaded file to another community, as well adding a “crossposted” body that may or may not be editable depending on the client.
Although… if you upload the file once and reuse the same url, it also works as a crosspost, without having to press the “crosspost” button.
So yes, I’m doing as you are suggesting, although it’s faster to post when you can just use a multiple choice dropdown for the community.
Instead of multisending taking up drive space with duplicate images on community run servers, might I suggest using the Crosspost feature?
Post once to s community specific to the artist and Crosspost to other communities.
