Cities: Skylines uses exclusively distance to determine which path to take. Don’t know why considering the game shipped with traffic statistics and speed limits.
Oh yeah I remember when I’d only played Victoria II (Which I’d pirated anyway) and thought hey this is a really great game development company and acquired a legal copy of Stellaris when it was on sale and my coworkers were like… A Paradox game? You rich? And… Then I watched all the new DLCs for Stellaris roll in over the years. I bought maybe 3 or 4 of them on sale and tbf I think I have like 150 hours in it so it’s not too bad, but honestly I don’t think I’ll ever buy another Paradox game.
They now have a subscription option and season packs… Eugh
Many of them are just basically mods that add a new unit or some bullshit. What annoys me in lists like that is not knowing at a glance which ones add new mechanics and features and which are just minor little things like tue aforementioned units.
yeah but they are totally sorry for not putting in basic features that were in their first game. like, super sorry and stuff… be sure to buy the next dlc though…
Its ok the modding scene took care of all those issues. In a mod that released 12 updates ago, is now completely broken, and will never be updated again.

Traffic overhaul will be a new DLC coming next month.
DLC when it should have been in the game day 1 (10 years ago)
Paradox is basically European Nintendo.
Accept they made exactly one good game and expect to be able to pull the same shit
Just to clarify, I was just making a joke of it being a paradox game. It’s also the reason I actively avoid all paradox games even if it is good.
Paradox’s whole thing is releasing as many DLCs for a title as they possibly can. Just look at every one of their games’ list of DLCs.
The Paradox publisher sale is currently on Steam. 90% off so you can pay a measly €125 for the complete Stellaris pack now.
Bought most dlc on release, been playing since beta 🤷 next one got me so hyped too 🫣

It makes the game feel incomplete when you see DLC lists like that.

Across the Obelisk player here, can confirm.

It’s not even that hard of a change. Multiply by speed limit and traffic for each section then done.
