Ah that’s right, when the people disagree with the ruling class and the oligarchs bank-rolling them, it’s called “extremism.”

See also: “climate change” and “genocide”

Gestapo indiscriminately murdering people in the streets? Law and order.

People protesting billionaires burning down the planet just so they can add more billions to their huge pile of billions? Extremism.

As opposed to their extremism, which is “just how the world should be”.

When the government are literal fascists it is extremely difficult to not be an extremist.

Thinking the law should apply to everyone, even rich people, that’s extreme.

It’s funny how Ai is trying to lump itself into a datacenters-in-general issue or a general tech issue. It’s neither.

    It’s not anti-tech: it’s anti-Ai .

Indeed. They are the ones trying to cram AI into every single tech-related aspect, even though it is going to considerably worsen the experience for everyone.

They just got this thing which has some limited use purposes, and they are going to apply it to everything solely for stock purposes and nefarious data harvesting and not for improving tech in the slightest, on the contrary in fact.

What the police be disingenuous in their interactions with the public. No way.

It’s not even anti AI sentiment really. I would be totally fine with AI if it would be in developed in research lab until they can come up with a way to make it actually economical. My problem is that they’ve released it to the general public (who for the most part are using it inappropriately) even though the technology is far from ready.

People get so extremist when I set fire to their property.

I feel threatened. It is unsafe that they are allowed to be angry at me.

When the bread starts to get expensive, you can’t have the masses protesting against the circus. Doesn’t surprise me in the least that they’d come down hard on the anti-tech crowd.

The only people who are actually anti-tech tend to be older people who “don’t do computers”. I’m not anti-technology, I’m anti-losing my job to a piece of software that, to rub salt in the wound, doesn’t actually work.

Oh and as a bonus it raises the temperature of the local environment by an amount that we would have to burn coal for over a century in order to match.

What’s considered extreme is a very subjective thing. That idea is often weaponised against the otherwise ignorant

    Helpful reminder to everyone
