I had been skipping this one because I couldn’t figure it out. Google translate kept calling the title “statistician”, and manually typing it into a translator was giving me the same thing. For some reason it thought for a little longer today and finally gave me a title that makes sense: “works as an extra”

I don’t speak Hungarian, but the Norwegian word for Extra is “statist”, as in someone who is part of a static set. I would think the Hungarian word has a similar meaning/origin, and that the lack of context threw the translator off.
Same in German.
That’s probably the origin for the Hungarian. Ton of words borrowed from our EU daddy.
Probably comes from latin. Might have been via another country, might have been directly.
