Reminds me of the well known trans fem pilot at a small airfield who had to endure constant ridicule by the other pilots. Not because she was trans. But because she was the only female pilot flying in elaborate dresses.

As an agendered AFAB who’s experienced the stigma of not dressing “feminine” enough, I feel this. Going back to dressing comfortably, no matter what others’ gender expectations are, is a sign of confidence in yourself.

Oh I’m very much not like that. Very masc pre transition, mid transition pretty butch, learned makeup while recovering from bottom surgery and have slowly gotten more and more feminine. It’s wild to me that these days I can just throw on eyeshadow and lipstick without having to stress about how to make it look good
