If trans women are women then why do we need AFAB to differentiate. How is this not just moving the differentiator from the set of naughty bits to the words used to describe the naughty bits you were born with, and then how is that different than gender?
No, you’re right: afab and amab should only be used in contexts in which it is actually important information. E.g. medical. In all other cases it is unnecessary.
