minus-squareBeehaw_Girl@beehaw.orglinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·9 hours agoAh you’re wise. My first thought was experimenting with red & yellow food coloring until the objective was achieved Serious question though: does turmeric have flavor?
minus-squareEphera@lemmy.mllinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up14·edit-27 hours agoIt’s mostly bitter with a slight hotness and a herbal touch. “Dry” is also a really good adjective for it IMHO. Source: I just ate half a teaspoon of turmeric. 10/10 would not recommend. I guess, I should also add that you really don’t need a lot of turmeric to color things yellow, so the flavor isn’t that big of a deal here.

minus-squaresnoons@lemmy.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·9 hours agoKind of, it’s really like a… background flavour. At least to me it is.
minus-squaresimpliston@programming.devlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up6·9 hours agoAt least until you add too much of it. Never drown chicken in turmeric and vinegar, I’m warning you

Add a bunch of tumeric.
