I really hope they don’t, because it wouldn’t. Nobody’s been all that happy with windows since the 90s, but back then there was this expectation that surely, mistreated customers and broken laws would have some kind of consequences. In modern times all the gigacorps know it never ever happens, and gloatingly exploit it at every turn. They don’t even try to hide it anymore.
Windows is more dogshit than ever, and was still accelerating when it smashed through the bottom of the barrel. One of the major reasons is that it’s just not that important to MSFT anymore. They have the AI hype bullshit after all, and Azure and corporate licensing

Yes, but “AI”! Everything needs to have the AI that everyone definitely wants and doesn’t hate. I’m waiting for them to put “copilot” in copilot, so you can slop while you slop. Nothing’s about having a good product anymore, or at least nothing that applies to you or me.

Ew, sounds worse than Windows 11, the one they tried to dump slop in and make people like. Thankfully, I’d never have to use the trash that Microslop was developing. I remember reading the news they were actively working on making a “buzzwords” OS.
