Might I suggest practicing writing letters to your government officials in it, it’s good to know how to write their names. Just practice your penmanship, and think of their faces while writing the names.
That’s just too heavy for me right now. I don’t want all that negativity in my new journal. Mostly I’ve been doodling my puppies, playing MASH and TRUE LOVE FLAME to find my true love, like back in middle-school, etc…but I hate to waste such a nice notebook only on such tripe.
I think I’m finally going to write all those letters I’ve been meaning to send to my family, favorite childhood teachers, etc. Hell, it’s a long-shot, but I might even try to send a couple of thank you notes to some of my heroes. Dolly Parton. Jane Goodall. David Attenborough. They probably won’t see it, but I’ll be glad I at least tried, you know?
