Valid point, I feel the same. The whole concept of hiding UI elements for a better look, the weird upper bar and the shitty multimonitor support drive me insane.
It’s still miles better than Windows and a lot worse than Linux with KDE. But to be fair, there are paid apps for changing the UI quite a lot. There’s even one that gives you a Windows-like taskbar on a Mac.
I thought that’s how it would be too, but I’ve got to admit that the UI gets on my nerves much more than I expected.
