I don’t get it.
Last year, kids were saying “6, 7” for no particular reason; it was just a schoolyard meme. Old people like me started saying it. It wasn’t cool anymore because old people aren’t cool. This snack company is trying to ride the hottest trend about twelve months too late.
Okay. So where are the F7U12 Tendies?
I showed this to my 12 year old child and he gave me the most dramatic eyeroll and said: “Yeeeeahh. Gen alpha has some dumb stuff.” lol
Be a lot cheaper to manufacture “69” nuggets. Pick the right font and you’d only need one shape
imagine the disappointment when you only get 6’s in your package 😐
Can also use Star Wars to brand them as “Order 66” nuggets. Or Get Smart with “Agent 99” nuggets.
this sucks i got a bag of really curly 'p’s and 'q’s
beter mind your P’s and Q’s
It’d be really odd if there was no ‘d’ and ‘b’, too.
wait fuck i been throwing those out as defective
Just call em Quotes and make em 6’s
You may ask why not 9s? Well it’s because 7 8 9

This happened to me with the word ‘tight’ when I heard it in a hot wheels ad.
Jimothy in a nutshell.
Mmm Jimothy nuggets
Jimothy is eternal!
Tell that to Harambe
You forgot the middle step. When parents discover it and ruin it, then its companies trying to profit off of it.

We know how to destroy them. Spread the word.
Call me Inuyasha
Not representative of reality; brand is too cute
lol, I was thinking “brand is exactly my type.”
Adorably chubby?
So in this case it’s a good thing
That reminds me of this sketch
Hum, look like 69 nuggets with a bunch of L for loser nuggets thrown in for the kids.
Finally, corpos are adopting the meme. They will make it cringe enough to kill it off while milking the corpse dry.
But the brilliant part is that they aren’t selling this shit to kids, they are selling it to parents and there’s an extra dynamic of parent trying to make kid happy and kid probably picking up on that and acting happy to please the parent, resulting in the parent buying it more times when neither of them really care about it.
It’s insidious and reminds me of those car commercials where they are marketing “a new car will make your teenagers want to spend time with the family instead of their friends” instead of trying to sell the car itself.
Is that really a plot line in car commercials these days? I’ve got to see some examples because that’s pretty crazy
No idea about these days as I don’t watch ads these days, but I do remember some minivan or SUV commercials like that back in the 00s and fresh enough off being a teenager that I knew it didn’t work like that (or for the ones that would, they were probably already still engaged with the family without needing a new car).
You’re buying shaped chicken nuggets. You’ve already surrendered your dignity. There are no “Heroes of Civil Rights” chicken nuggets…
well it was your idea so now you gotta do it
Featuring the famous faces of the civil rights movement so your children can consume them.
“Buy me Cesar Chavez flavor, they really taste better than the Harriet Tubmans”
Y’all just haters, 67 is just another example of one generation finding and creating their own internet humor, then having every other generation bash on them for it.
Sure it’s a bit cringey, but let the kids have their fun. Internet humor doesn’t have to be so gatekeepy. We had things like 21 from vine and 2+2 is 4. If you look further than number based memes, then there’s been a bunch of nonsensical memes like 🅱️
Yeah 67 is dumb but so was Nyan Cat, It is Wednesday my dudes, dickbutt, Somebody Touched My Spaghet…
I think I can shed light on the 6 7 hate. To do so though, I need to cover why people are okay with the others. 420 and 69 have been around for ages so they get a pass for being grandfathered and having transgressive origins. Quick maths (2+2 is 4, minus 1 that’s 3) got its fame for being an incredibly stupid thing to say in the middle of a rap while also simultaneously going way too hard for how silly it sounds. Lastly you have 21, which was a vine meme so again, a more grounded and community based origin.
What makes 6 7 stand out is that it’s from the British school system, and British culture sucks.
I rest my case.
Boomer millennials are just upset they’re being reminded of how old and out of touch they are
Boomer millennials
LOL
Isn’t it past your bedtime, son?
Can’t handle the always changing definitions in a living language?
You might have boomer attitude.
Book the prostate exam old man
I was at a gathering and someone who is an English teacher said “yeah the 6 7 is so annoying but I can’t complain much; the entire maths department is in great distress.” I couldn’t help myself but the deadpan tone of the delivery just absolutely floored me.
I, a mid fifties uncle, dropped a 6 7 reference to my sister whilst my teenaged niece was nearby and got a laugh out of her. Worth it. Embrace the cringe.
I’m genuinely surprised it annoys anyone tbh, it’s just a couple of numbers. I laugh when my kids catch me and be as cringey as I can with it at every opportunity. Good harmless fun I can exploit for years to come.
Is the Corporate whoring they cringe at id wager
I forgot to specify but I meant it in the context of the thread. Corporate adoption of memes is never it.
For them,

23 skidoo ol chap!
I thought the fun of six seven was getting everyone else to bash them for it.
Okay, but… getting this for my tweenage daughter just to watch her slowly die of cringe would be so worth it.
I considering buying these to mess with my kids, but it would have been a declaration of war.
Shout it out while dropping her off at school or with friends.
Be relentless.
Do it. Report back.
6 🤷🏽♂️ 7
Me, opening the bag: “Fucks sake, all these are 9’s and L’s”
Hi dad, is that you? Are you planning to come home with the milk anytime soon?
You know your dad is never coming home.
Dad eats all the 69s and leaves the kid with a plate of L.
Mom, what’s 69?
Mom: ask your dad
Dad: ask your mom.
The aristocrats.
“It’s two better than 67.”
I had to double check and make sure that wasn’t the exact image I took this weekend at Aldi and shared with a couple of friends (it wasn’t). Real friends don’t steal karma that would rightfully have been mine. My kids would have died from extreme eye rolling trauma if I had brought those home from the store.
Same actually, lol.

Purdue made these as well and I got them to annoy my friends who despise the meme… And my oven’s heating element died in protest 😂
You have to set it to 420 to reset
Purdue… are they the ones I keep hearing about in the news selling poison chicken and killing their workers? I’m Canadian so our chicken is slightly less poison.
Shrug E?
